The clarity in the grace that beckons me is evident

 in her voice

Sounding of undeserved peace

Songs to call past mistakes to send away

The lines drawn by her eyes

Redirecting my poorly laid path

Lips shaped upwards in peaking smile

Causing fears to fall and hopes to rise

To say to her “I am thankful”

Is to capture mountains in scribbled crayon

My efforts and Actions May never fully extend

I Stretch and grow

Arms and hands struggling to grasp

Trying to hold the sky

She is overhead and I am down below

Above me she will stay

And my Limbs will hold her up
